Kamothe suicide: man had attempted twice

Navi Mumbai: Investigations into the suicide of an assistant sub-inspector’s 30-year-old son have revealed that he had made similar attempts twice. He asked her to come back, but she wanted to do better in her career as Mr. Patil was jobless. His father had opened a wine shop in Kamothe, but he assigned someone else to look after it. On August 6, Pankaj Patil, a resident of Highlight Housing Society at Sector 22, Kamothe, was found dead in the first floor parking.

The father and the son shared a bitter relation and both of them had approached the police with complaints against each other,” said senior police inspector Ashok Naik. On August 6, Pankaj Patil, a resident of Highlight Housing Society at Sector 22, Kamothe, was found dead in the first floor parking. He had jumped from the terrace of the 13th floor. A security guard found his body and alerted his parents who were fast asleep. Searching for job Mr. Naik said Mr. Patil’s wife and their two-year-old son were at his in-law’s house when the incident occurred. “His wife, a bank employee, had gone to her home town for a computer examination. He asked her to come back, but she wanted to do better in her career as Mr. Patil was jobless. His father had opened a wine shop in Kamothe, but he assigned someone else to look after it.
