Girl’s body found in Agumbe stream; Rs 10 lakh relief for family

It was handed over to her family members, and a case has been registered at Agumbe police station. Her mother Anita had been taking care of two children by farming their 0.5-acre land.Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy announced Rs 10 lakh compensation to the family. Heavy rain and rising water levels in the stream hampered search operations, which were launched soon after the incident.On Tuesday noon, the body was traced 1km away from where she slipped.
