Clay modelling workshop to teach niceties of art

On the last day of the workshop, artefacts of the participants will be put on display. The participants will be taught how to make cartoon masks, ‘Aladdin ka chirag’ and Harappan era ornaments. Chakole will also teach jute art, carving on pots, bronze effect painting, contemporary sculptures, Rajasthani masks and mural art forms from clay.Gopal Betawar, programme officer of SCZCC said, “Through this workshop, we want to encourage potters, their traditional art and contemporary designs and help they add value to their works.”Participants will get an art kit which will include clay and whitening powder, terracotta paste, acrylic paints and brushes, costing Rs600.
