Cops bid colleagues farewell

Nagpur: The staffers of Kotwali police organized a farewell function to bid former colleagues adieu following various transfer orders issued last fortnight. Three cops , who retired from service, were also felicitated during the programme.API Pagar, who has been transferred out of the city, was among the 17 cops felicitated during the programme. Wagh and Yadav were assisted by other cops too. He also wished the outgoing cops good wishes and luck for their future endeavours. Three cops, constables Dadarao Wankhede, Narayan Raut and Asst sub-inspector Neelkanth Nikam, were also among those honoured.Zonal DCP Rahul Maknikar and Senior PI of Kotwali police station Pradeep Rayannavar were among those who addressed the gathering.

Three cops, constables Dadarao Wankhede, Narayan Raut and Asst sub-inspector Neelkanth Nikam, were also among those honoured.Zonal DCP Rahul Maknikar and Senior PI of Kotwali police station Pradeep Rayannavar were among those who addressed the gathering. Maknikar, known as a prolific speaker, summed up the efforts police personnel are required to take over decades of their services in the department. He also wished the outgoing cops good wishes and luck for their future endeavours. Rayannavar too offered his gratitude for the assistance and efforts rendered by the cops.The cops felicitated on the occasion were also presented with mementos at the event organized by API Keshav Wagh and head constable Pramod Yadav under the supervision of PI Rayannavar. Wagh and Yadav were assisted by other cops too. Senior citizen Rajabhau Chilate, police mitra Sunil Jaiswa and some scribes too were present.
