Video: Driver, milk tanker drown in Pangoli river Gondia

GONDIA: A tanker carrying milk from Maharashtra’s Gondia district to Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh was drowned in the flooded Pangoli river on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the Pangoli river was overflowing due to heavy rainfall in Gondia since last two days. The driver couldn’t assess the flow of water and tried to cross the river when he lost control and the tanker drowned in the floods. The driver, Gautam Patil, a resident of Narkhed in Nagpur, was transporting milk in the 10-wheeler tanker (MH16-CC0392) to Rajnandgaon. The driver of the tanker was feared dead in the incident.

The incident occurred on Aamgaon road in Gondia district at around 10 pm. The driver, Gautam Patil, a resident of Narkhed in Nagpur, was transporting milk in the 10-wheeler tanker (MH16-CC0392) to Rajnandgaon. Meanwhile, the Pangoli river was overflowing due to heavy rainfall in Gondia since last two days.
