Three cases of burglary raise concern about safety of citizens’ property

Complainant Ravindranath Hajar (37), resident of Garudvab road, Gandhi Putla was traveling with a bag carrying gold ornaments. However on a stretch from Hockey building to Itwari railway station, an unidentified man snatched away the bag with gold ornaments worth Rs 3,07,500, Hajar told police. However in between Mayo Hospital and Sarafa oli, some unidentified person stole away his Rs 1,90,000 cash from auto, told Sharma to Police. In the first incident complainant Prabhakar Sharma (55), resident of Vishnupuri Galli no. 4, district Hatrath, Uttar Pradesh works with a collection company in the city. He was on his way to collect the order in an auto on Wednesday noon. However in between Mayo Hospital and Sarafa oli, some unidentified person stole away his Rs 1,90,000 cash from auto, told Sharma to Police. Tehsil police station has registered a case under section 379 of IPC. In the second incident reported under the jurisdiction of new Kamptee police station, an unidentified accused fled with gold ornaments to the tune of Rs 3 lakh around 12 pm on Wednesday. In third case, which was reported in Ambazari police station, Bhavesh Jariwala (40) resident of Plot. No. 389, Dharaskar road, Itwari own Hotel Saffron in Gokulpeth. An unidentified burglar gained entry on the first floor, as the gate remained open, between 3pm and 4pm on July 16 and fled with Rs 1,15,000 cash and silver coins worth Rs 10,000, reported Jariwala to Ambazari police. Ambazari police has registered a case under relevant sections. Further details are awaited.
