Nagpur: A 35-year-old housewife was shocked after receiving a courier from her husband’s ‘friend’ who allegedly intimidated her and also threatened to share her personal videos online between November 13, 2017, and July 23, 2018. The survivor had received an intimidating letter, a book ‘Kahaniya’ and a CD containing her personal videos in the courier.After finding that the CD contained her personal videos, the survivor approached Ajni police station and registered a case of criminal intimidation and molestation.According to cops, survivor’s husband and the accused, Deepmala Chaoudhary, were ‘friends’ as they are both in the marketing field. In November last year, survivor and her husband had visited the accused at her house in Indore. It is learnt, Deepmala lives with her husband.The survivor claimed that Deepmala recorded her personal video at the latter’s house. The survivor identified the location in the video as the house of the accused.After survivor returned to the city, the accused started threatening the survivor to leave her husband or face consequences.According to sources, the survivor’s husband was allegedly in an extra marital relationship with Deepmala.According to cops, in the letter Deepmala threatened to circulate the videos on social media if the survivor did not leave her husband.Senior PI of Ajni police station Shailesh Sankhe said, “We will be sending a team to Indore to investigate the matter further and get more information about the accused.”
