Over 100 cases settled at pension adalat

Nagpur: Over 100 cases were settled at pension adalat organized by the joint director of accounts and treasuries. A team of officers from accountant general office also attended to the queries of pensioners/subscribers related to GPF matters. “Many of the pensioners’ grievances were resolved and more than 100 cases were settled. Officers from the accountant general’s office, joint director’s office, Nagpur, treasury and drawing and disbursing officers from across the state worked hard for the success of the event. The pensioners expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the accountant general and state government for the noble venture,” the release stated.The accountant general and his officers extended their support and guidance in solving the problems of pensioners.

More than 600 pensioners from Vidarbha and Marathwada participated in the it.Following directives of the central and state governments, pension adalat was organized for Nagpur, Nanded, Amravati, Aurangabad, Akola, Beed, Buldhana, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gondia, Gadchiroli, Wardha, Washim, Yavatmal, Jalna, Hingoli, Osmanabad, Latur and Parbhani districts at Sai Sabhagruh on Tuesday for prompt and quick disposal of pensioners’ grievances.In a press release issued here, the office of joint director of accounts and treasuries said that pending cases of pensioners and fresh grievances registered last week were considered during the adalat. “Many of the pensioners’ grievances were resolved and more than 100 cases were settled. Several pensioners also received authorities for retirement benefits at the location. The pensioners expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the accountant general and state government for the noble venture,” the release stated.The accountant general and his officers extended their support and guidance in solving the problems of pensioners.
