‘Betrayed’ woman stabs boyfriend

Chandrapur: Miffed over betrayal of her boyfriend, a woman stabbed him in Nagbhid late on Monday. The girlfriend got irked after learning that his boyfriend was already married.The woman summoned Kishor to a busy market place in Nagbhid town late in the night to confront him. Large crowd was watching the duo when she started stabbing him with the knife, sources said. He had lured her with the promises of marriage and established physical relationship with her. As Kishor denied marrying her, she took out knife and attacked him.

While the victim, Kishor Pathode, has been shifted to Nagpur, the accused, who also sustained injuries in the squabble, has been admitted local hospital.Sources claimed that the victim was already married and had concealed his marital status from his girlfriend. He had lured her with the promises of marriage and established physical relationship with her. They were in the relationship since quite some years, it is learnt. The girlfriend got irked after learning that his boyfriend was already married.The woman summoned Kishor to a busy market place in Nagbhid town late in the night to confront him. After abusing him, the accused asked him to marry her. As Kishor denied marrying her, she took out knife and attacked him. Large crowd was watching the duo when she started stabbing him with the knife, sources said.
