Two brave souls lost lives in valley, families to be saluted

On the eve of Police Commemoration day celebrated on October 21 every year, the families of the two CRPF men would be given a grand salutation at the CRPF Nagpur camp.Meshram, the son of Sonegaon village of city, lost his life in the fierce battle between terrorists hidden and protection force at Taj Hotel, Laalbaug in Srinagar on January 16, 1991. Following his death, the government granted a job to his wife on compassionate ground, and she still works as a peon at CRPF camp.
