2 juveniles flee from remand home custody

They were found by a social organization which handed them over to the juvenile home. The social organization had organized several programmes for them. Thereafter, the authorities approached Sitabuldi police station and filed a complaint.It is learnt that missing children are from Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Accordingly, all the juveniles were brought to Traffic Park. Sitabuldi police have registered a case of kidnapping as per the instructions of the Supreme Court.Juvenile home authorities, along with a social organization, had organized outing for the inmates.

Nagpur: Two juveniles, who are inmates of Government Juvenile Home, have fled by dodging the security guards on Tuesday from Traffic Park.Around 150 inmates of Patankar Square’s juvenile home had gone to Traffic Park for a dinner programme. Sitabuldi police have registered a case of kidnapping as per the instructions of the Supreme Court.Juvenile home authorities, along with a social organization, had organized outing for the inmates. Accordingly, all the juveniles were brought to Traffic Park. The social organization had organized several programmes for them. After the programme ended, the authorities took a headcount of the children occurred and found that two juveniles were missing.Everyone started looking for them but the duo was nowhere to be found. Thereafter, the authorities approached Sitabuldi police station and filed a complaint.It is learnt that missing children are from Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Cops said the duo must have taken advantage of the dark and dodged the guards.Such outings are organized by social organizations, along with the juvenile home, every year. The duo has been staying at the home since the last three years. They were found by a social organization which handed them over to the juvenile home.
