Group of men attack couple over DJ brawl in Ajni

Following the complaint of Manju, Ajni PSI S S Nanoti booked all the accused under Sections 326, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and started the probe. However, the accused duo were not in the mood to forgive the Ramteke couple and were waiting for the right time to settle the score with the couple. On Wednesday night, the accused Laddu and Jai along with their accomplices accosted Raju at around 10.30 pm. The couple was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) by the locals. According to police, the 28-year-old complainant Manju Ramteke and her spouse Raju Jeevan Ramteke (29), both residents of Sujata Buddha Vihar, Ramteke Nagar, had picked up a quarrel with accused Laddu and Jai, both residents of the same locality and their accomplices on April 7, 2019 following an argument over songs played by the DJ in a private function in the locality. Back then, the fight was sorted out as the locals intervened into the matter. However, the accused duo were not in the mood to forgive the Ramteke couple and were waiting for the right time to settle the score with the couple. On Wednesday night, the accused Laddu and Jai along with their accomplices accosted Raju at around 10.30 pm. The accused first bashed up Raju before stabbing and injuring him seriously. Manju, who was present on the spot, tired to intervene into the matter. However, the accused also attacked her and hit on her head. Leaving the couple soaked in blood, all the accused fled the spot. The couple was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) by the locals. Following the complaint of Manju, Ajni PSI S S Nanoti booked all the accused under Sections 326, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and started the probe.
