Nagpur: A Pune-based website is giving an excellent opportunity to the school students for visiting headquarters of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). They just need to clear the 'Kalpana Chawla National Scholar (KCNS)' exam to be conducted by the website on December 10.Addressing the media, senior official of www.educharya.com, Vikram Bhoyar, informed that the examination would be conducted at all India level for the state, CBSE and ICSE boards schools. The exam will be of one-hour duration with 100 questions with weightages as Science (50%), Mathematics (30%) and GK (20%). A rapid fire round for the shortlisted top performing students of first round will be conducted to find the best of the best. For more details, students and teachers can log on to www.educharya.com.

It would be primarily based on school syllabus and general knowledge."Only students from class 5th to 9th are eligible. The exam will be of one-hour duration with 100 questions with weightages as Science (50%), Mathematics (30%) and GK (20%). There are other exciting prizes of Rs1 lakh each for the students as well as for the participating schools and registered teachers," he said.Apart from NASA visit for top 21 students and cash prizes, many more exciting prizes across three categories for participating schools are on the anvil. The registration form is to be filled on the same website and user-id/password will be send by SMS and e-mail.The online preparatory KCNS tests are already made available on Sundays and would continue till December 5, 2017. A rapid fire round for the shortlisted top performing students of first round will be conducted to find the best of the best. This round will be through video conferencing on Skype only for the top performers, Bhoyar said, while calling on the schools and parents to take advantage, Bhoyar informed.
