CM promises more investments

Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured that he will provide all help to attract more investments in Nashik.Fadnavis, accompanied by officials, visited the stalls set up by Nashik Industries & Manufacturers’ Association (Nima) at the ongoing global investors’ summits at Mumbai on Monday evening. We also gave them a brochure of Make in Nashik. He spent some time viewing the stalls and interacting with Nima members.During the brief interaction, the Nima members urged him to promote Nashik to attract large investments.Nima president Mangesh Patankar and vice-president Shrikant Bachhav urged Fadnavis to lend a helping hand in wooing investments for Nashik. We gave them a presentation on Nashik’s investment potential and what the advantages of establishing units in Nashik are,” Patankar said.“Moreover, over 100 business delegates visited our stall throughout the day. “We approached a dozen investors, including LIM Chen Ming, the vice-president of a Singapore-based business consultancy company EDI Singapore, Jerry Andersson, managing director, Epiroc and CEO of mega food processing industry Vadindra Katti.

The duo also reminded him the efforts that Nashik Inc had taken last year to organise the Make in Nashik event to attract investments.According to them, the CM promised that he will support the industry body in attracting new investments in Nashik.Nima also gave presentations on the investment potential of Nashik to around a dozen investors on Monday. “We approached a dozen investors, including LIM Chen Ming, the vice-president of a Singapore-based business consultancy company EDI Singapore, Jerry Andersson, managing director, Epiroc and CEO of mega food processing industry Vadindra Katti. Our aim is to promote ‘Make in Nashik’ to attract more investment and generate employment,” said Patankar.Apart from Nima, the CM also visited other stalls of industries from Nashik, including S S Enterprises, Swami Samarth Electronics.The global investors summit Magnetic Maharashtra is being held from February 18 to 20, while the industrial expo will continue up to February 23 at the MMRDA grounds, BKC, Mumbai.
