NASHIK: Nashik district has topped the chart in disposal of online certificates for the applicants across Maharashtra. However, the district administration had appealed to the people to get their certificates in advance and good numbers of people participated in the exercise inMay itself. The district administration has processed more than thrice the numbers of applications received in May to make it an all-time high in June.The district administration has achieved the top slot by disposing 1,75,633 applications in June - 291 percent more than in May, which itself was the highest.In June, Nashik district processed 1,75,633 applications as against 59,970 in May and 28,897 in April, the district administration said.The online disposal of certificates is monitored by the state government centrally and the same data reveals the numbers of disposal of certificates.District revenue officers present 23 types of various certificates - including caste, age, domicile, nationality, creamy layer, income and others - required by the students at the time of admissions.June sees huge rush at the centres for the certificates.
