The beginning of Ganesha festival was marked with various processions at Nashik . The city municipal commissioner Tukaram Mundhe , was part of the festival at municipal corporation. Citizens welcomed Ganesha at home in a traditional manner while the Dhol pathaks paved a way for celebrations at various city based pandals. The celebration went on till late, bringing life to the city roads late in the night. Meanwhile, youngsters took the way of social media to celebrate, where clicking selfies with bappa marked the day.
