Supa estate attracts Rs 1350cr investment

The projects with a total investment of Rs 1,350 crore are coming up at the additional industrial estate. Nashik: The new Supa industrial estate in Ahmednagar district has attracted fresh investments of Rs 1,350 crore.“We have allotted total 75 acre land to four mega industrial projects. They are expected to generate direct employment to nearly 1,500 people.The Supa industrial estate, created on 550 hectare land, is ready with infrastructure. The MIDC has allotted 20 acre land for the project that will be engaged in manufacturing corrugated box, paper boards and related products. The company has obtained 10 acre land.

Nashik: The new Supa industrial estate in Ahmednagar district has attracted fresh investments of Rs 1,350 crore.“We have allotted total 75 acre land to four mega industrial projects. The projects with a total investment of Rs 1,350 crore are coming up at the additional industrial estate. We will start online land allotment for other small and large industries,” an MIDC official said.According to MIDC sources, Midea India Pvt Ltd has obtained 25 acre land in Supa where it will invest Rs 700 crore to set up facility to manufacture home appliances.The project will generate around 500 jobs, sources said.Boxovia Pvt Ltd is investing Rs 250 crore in Supa. The MIDC has allotted 20 acre land for the project that will be engaged in manufacturing corrugated box, paper boards and related products. It will generate direct employment to 300 people.KSPG Automotive India Pvt Ltd will investing Rs 52 crore to set up an engineering products manufacturing unit. The company has obtained 10 acre land. It will provide direct employment to 230 people.Another company engaged in manufacturing of electronic appliances like air conditioners and refrigerators will invest Rs 341 crore. It was allotted around 25 acre land.All these projects are expected to be operational within one-and-a-half years. They are expected to generate direct employment to nearly 1,500 people.The Supa industrial estate, created on 550 hectare land, is ready with infrastructure. It comes under the jurisdiction of Nashik regional office of the MIDC. The estate includes a 200-acre Japanese industrial zone.
