‘Stalker’ sends bouquets to married woman, booked

The woman is a housewife and lives with her husband and two children in Sector 11 . He also started delivering cakes and bouquets on her birthdays, sometimes under a disguise after she objected.“His intentions were not good. The accused, Aditya Jaiswal, a medical representative, lives in Jaipur, Rajasthan.Five years ago, the woman, now 38 years old, got in touch with Jaiswal through Facebook and started chatting.

The woman is a housewife and lives with her husband and two children in Sector 11 . The accused, Aditya Jaiswal, a medical representative, lives in Jaipur, Rajasthan.Five years ago, the woman, now 38 years old, got in touch with Jaiswal through Facebook and started chatting. According to the woman, two years ago, the accused started making sexual advances, prompting her to distance herself from the relationship. Jaiswal, however, started calling and messaging her. He also started delivering cakes and bouquets on her birthdays, sometimes under a disguise after she objected.“His intentions were not good. He started making phone calls and sending messages to me against my wish. He also started pressuring me to make physical relations,” the woman said. The complainant alleged that the accused threatened to kidnap her children and harm her husband if she did not agree to his demands.Later, the accused adopted a unique strategy by delivering bouquets and cakes from local online stores with different names. Last month, he delivered cake and bouquets on the woman’s daughter’s birthday. “He is also demanding Rs 85,000 to settle the score. I am mentally harassed over the unwanted sexual advancement,” she said. Later, the woman discussed the matter with her husband and filed a complaint at Sector 24 police station.Jaiswal, on his part, said he sent the flowers and cake as a mark of courtesy to a friend and bore her no ill-will. “I had sent the bouquets to her as a friend. We had met five years ago on Facebook. Later we had also met personally and had good relations. I used to send her bouquets as a friend and there was no other intention,” he said.Manoj Kumar Sharma, who identified himself as Jaiswal’s lawyer, said the woman had borrowed Rs 85,000 from his client and refused to return it which severed their relationship.Pankaj Pant, SHO, Sector 24 police station, said both the man and woman are married and have their families. “Based on the woman’s complaint, a case under Section 354A (sexual harassment) and Section 506 (criminal intimidation) has been registered against the accused. We have assigned cops to investigate the matter and take necessary actions,” he said.
