NOIDA: Officials of the excise department raided a party at Appu Ghar Express in The Great India Place (TGIP) mall on Friday night and arrested the manager of the amusement outlet for allegedly serving liquor on the premises without permission.Altogether 78 bottles of beer and India-made foreign liquor were recovered in the raid, which was carried out around 9.45pm. According to officials who were in the team, the bottles of whiskey had been sourced from neighbouring Delhi, where liquor is relatively cheap than UP.District excise officer Rakesh Singh said two places had been raided on Friday night following a tip-off, the other being a hotel at Hazipur in Sector 104, where, too, liquor was being served without permission.
