Noida: The traffic police have decided to implement a new plan for vehicular movement within Sector 18 , which will not allow commuters travelling from DLF Mall to move to CSM Mall directly. Sushil Jain, the association president, told TOI that opening the cut between DLF-Radisson was one of their demands, which has been partially fulfilled. We will see the affect and then decide on further action,” he said. “However, we’ll wait to see the impact of implementation of the diversion. Although, the opening of a part of the cut will not lead to any problem to commuters in entering the market, snarls are likely on the cut from where the diversion will be in place.

Noida: The traffic police have decided to implement a new plan for vehicular movement within Sector 18 , which will not allow commuters travelling from DLF Mall to move to CSM Mall directly. The new diversions will be in place from Sunday night under which the commuters coming out from the multi-level parking (MLP) will have to travel towards Lakshita store in G block of Sector 18.Similarly, those travelling from the MLP side and going towards Sector 17 from the turn opposite gate number 8 of the mall will not be able to exit the market from the road abutting the World Trade Centre and Somdutt Tower. They will have to travel using the road behind the MLP till the HDFC Bank T-point and exit the market from the road passing behind the Dharam Palace. An advisory issued by the traffic police on Saturday evening states that commuters travelling from the MLP and going towards the CSM Mall will not be able to do so directly. “They will have to take a left from the cut opposite DLF gate number 8 and then travel to Lakshita showroom T-point from where they can continue towards the CSM Mall,” reads the advisory.Meanwhile, the Sector 18 market association which has planned a protest on Monday to assert different demands is in a wait and watch mode. Sushil Jain, the association president, told TOI that opening the cut between DLF-Radisson was one of their demands, which has been partially fulfilled. “However, we’ll wait to see the impact of implementation of the diversion. Although, the opening of a part of the cut will not lead to any problem to commuters in entering the market, snarls are likely on the cut from where the diversion will be in place. We will see the affect and then decide on further action,” he said.
