Greater Noida to hire tech consultant for industrial township

Greater Noida: A tender has been floated to hire an information communication technology consultant for the under-construction Integrated Industrial Township in Greater Noida . The integrated township is one of the early bird projects in Dadri–Noida–Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), spread over 200 square km. The move is aimed at ensuring a futuristic technology for the project in line with world class smart cities.The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (DMICDC), a special purpose company, is developing the integrated township in Greater Noida. The consultant will recommend an integrated operation centre for city surveillance, traffic monitoring and management, emergency response and disaster management. M/s Shapoorji Pallonji has been appointed as the contractor for the project.The 1,483-km Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor aims to develop several industrial hubs between Delhi and Mumbai.

M/s Shapoorji Pallonji has been appointed as the contractor for the project.The 1,483-km Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor aims to develop several industrial hubs between Delhi and Mumbai. The integrated township is one of the early bird projects in Dadri–Noida–Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), spread over 200 square km. The integrated township is being developed over 747.5 acres and is likely to be completed in 2022.DMICDC sources said the consultant will conduct a study and recommend latest sustainable technologies that are relevant, futuristic and aligned to the actual deployment cycle. The consultant will recommend an integrated operation centre for city surveillance, traffic monitoring and management, emergency response and disaster management. It will also suggest the modals to enable security operations for police, fire, ambulance, etc. to coordinate and respond in an efficient manner to all routine operations and emergency events. A command and control centre will facilitate city-wide video surveillance and help in crisis management. The implementation of information communication technology infrastructure will boost the economic development of the region.The township is expected to create a skilled and employable workforce, essential for the industrial & commercial development in the DMIC region. The last date for submission of application for consultant is January 28, 2018. The tender will be opened for bidding process on January 30.
