The Authority team warned the squatters that action will be taken against them if they did not follow the order.Noida Authority had developed the sector and also earmarked around seven acre land for green belt according to its Master Plan 2021. However, over the years most of the green area was encroached with marble traders, godowns and showrooms. However, the following month a group of traders moved an application in NGT seeking a stay on its previous order. The tribunal heard the matter and gave them three months to clear the encroachment.Rajesh Kumar Singh, OSD Noida Authority, said that the traders have been told to remove the structures within three days. “Authority will clear the encroachment and develop green belt on the earmarked land.
