Massive fire breaks out in Metro Hospital https://t.co/j3KF8kHVQy — TOI Noida (@TOINoida) 1549525111000NOIDA: A massive fire broke out at a private hospital in Noida on Thursday where rescue operations are in full swing to save the trapped patients inside the multi-storeyed building, a fire official said.The blaze broke out in the Metro Hospital, Sector 12 Noida.Six fire tenders are on the spot to douse the flames.Smoke was seen billowing out of the hospital building where several people are feared trapped.As a thick blanket of smoke engulfed the building, several persons scampered out, broke window panes in desperation and jumped out.Scores of panic stricken people screamed for help even as evacuation process is underway.People were standing on ledges in balconies as rescuers tried to reach them by breaking window panes.Staffers also tried to help patients out of the building in Noida, on the outskirts of the national capital.According to the latest updates, all patients have been evacuated and no casualty has been reported so far.The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
