BHEL Township celebrates waterless Holi

We want to spread the message that Holi can be played without water and it is much more fun that way,” said Balwir Talwar , a resident of BHEL Township, Sector 16. The residents danced to the music and played Holi with natural colors. It was a celebration with Holi-special delicacies like ‘Thandai’, ‘Dahi Bhalle’ and ‘Gujiya’ which were offered to all the residents.“People of all ages came together and celebrated Holi without water. We believe water is a natural resource which is soon depleting and we should not waste it.
