Noida: A 35-year-old hotelier and his three employees were allegedly attacked by a group of 10 men on Wednesday night. A complaint was registered at Bisrakh police station on Thursday.According to the police, an argument broke out around 10pm when a car hit the owners car at the parking area of Hotel Hibiscus in Greater Noida Wests Galaxy Diamond Plaza. The hotel owner, Hemwant Chauhan, alleged that the attackers claimed to be locals and threatened to not let outsiders do business in the area. Hotel Hibiscus was innaugrated on Tuesday.On Wednesday night, the Swift deliberately hit my car from the rear. There were four people in the vehicle, said Chauhan, a native of Aligarh, who currently resides in Greater Noida. A heated argument broke out when the hotels employees, including its manager and Chauhans personal assistant, who witnessed the collision, asked the men in the car to drive carefully. The general manager of the hotel called Chauhan to the parking lot while trying to pacify the men. By the time I arrived at the parking lot, the men in the car had called around six others, who arrived on bikes, armed with sticks and rods. They attacked my staffers, Chauhan added.While the hotel staff fled the scene and hid in the basement of the plaza, Chauhan, who tried to break the scuffle, was allegedly slapped. The accused tried to snatch his gold chain too while trying to flee from the spot, said Chauhan. The hotel owner later called the police. The brawl was captured on CCTV cameras installed on the premises. A CCTV footage shows a group of men arguing, which soon escalates into a physical fight. Some of them, presumably the hotel staff, try to leave when the larger group of men catches hold of them and begins to beat them in the middle of the road. The attack continues as the staff tries to flee, DCP (central Noida) Sumit.DCP added a second CCTV camera, installed at the hotels reception, shows some men trying to run as two or three others chase them with sticks in their hands.
