NOIDA: The state government revised the entry fee of Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal from Rs 15 to Rs 20 in Sector 95. The Park is managed by Smarak Samiti, Uttar Pradesh.Parul Sen, manager of Dalit Prerna Sthal, said the Samiti has revised the entry fee of all parks in the state. The increase in entry fee will be applicable from October 1, 2023. The park will be open from 11 am – 9 pm, she said.The park was inaugurated by the former Chief Minister Mayawati on October 14, 2011. Every day, around 1,000 people, including youngsters, visit the park.The premises have statues of Dalit stalwarts Bhimrao Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram, and Mayawati. It also has 24 eighteen-foot-high elephant statues, BSPs party symbol. The memorial also has a museum and a green expanse built on an area of 82.5 acres along the banks of Yamuna. The Karnataka government has also formed a committee to revise textbooks for classes 1 to 10. Additionally, the revision of electoral rolls for various constituencies in Mumbai will take place from October 16 to December 30.
