4 Noida blocks to get smart classrooms

NOIDA: Four computer centres and smart classrooms will be developed in the four block resource centres in Jewar, Dankaur, Dadri, and Bisrakh. A budget of around Rs 2 lakh has been released, from which each block will get Rs 50,000 for infrastructure development, including new furniture and CCTV cameras. BSA Noida Aishwarya Lakshmi, said, Teachers, students and block-level education officers, will be given technical training on how to conduct online meetings. The four new centres will also have seven new computer set-ups.Additionally, the schools adjacent to the centres will also be renovated into smart class setup, said officials.Several times we need to conduct live demonstrations on smart boards to explain concepts better. District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma has instructed all schools in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district to switch to online classes.
