NOIDA: A 35-year-old woman was allegedly murdered on Sunday in Sector 118, by her husband who suspected her of infidelity. The man slit her throat and fled. Six teams have been formed to nab him. Sector 113 police were informed about the incident by a relative of the couple at around 2.40pm on Sunday. When the team reached the shanties opposite Ajnara Ambrosia in Sector 118, they found the woman lying in a pool of blood.She was taken to the hospital where she was declared dead, a senior officer posted at the Sector 113 police station said. According to officials the man allegedly slit his wifes neck during an argument with a sharp-edged weapon used to cut vegetables. No one was at home when the incident occurred. Their kids returned home to their mother lying dead and raised an alarm, the officer said. Investigation revealed that the family originally hails from Guwahati, Assam. The couple has three children, and the man is a daily wager worker.
