NOIDA: A security officer of a private company was shot at allegedly by a driver of the same company near the Sector 145 metro station on Monday night. The man suffered a bullet wound in the hip and is under recovery at the hospital. Two police teams have been formed to nab the accused.A police officer on her way back home spotted the man lying unconscious near the Sector 145 metro station."She took him to Kailash hospital and informed Sector 142 police station of the incident," said the additional DCP, Central Noida, Hridesh Kathariya.The man, a resident of Sitapur district, was losing consciousness when he identified the accused as Kapil Sharma, who works as a driver at the same company. "Inquiry revealed that the security officer and the driver had a dispute, but the reason is not known. Once the accused is arrested or the complainant is able to record his statement, we will be more clear about the motive," Kathariya said. A case under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.
