Doctor on way home from clinic molested by her driver

NOIDA: A driver was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly molesting his employer near Spectrum mall on Monday night, police said. A case was registered and the accused was sent to judicial custody, cops added.According to the police, the accused has been identified as Rajkumar Mandal, a native of Bihar and currently residing in Sector 51. Mandal had been associated with his employer, a 36-year-old doctor, for around two and a half years, police said.Late on Monday night, the doctor reached the Sector 113 police station and informed cops that while returning home from her clinic, her driver Mandal misbehaved with her, a senior officer said.A case has been registered against the accused under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.A team was formed and the accused was arrested on Tuesday with the help of manual and technical surveillance, the officer said, adding that Mandal was produced before a local court and sent to judicial custody on Tuesday.(The victims identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme Court directives on cases related to sexual assault)We also published the following articles recentlyJ&K ex-minister sent to 14-day judicial custody in PMLA caseChaudhary Lal Singh, former J&K minister, has been sent to judicial custody for two weeks by a CBI court in connection with a money laundering case. During his initial interrogation, Anwar revealed the location of a hidden gun, which was subsequently recovered by the police. However, Anwar tried to escape custody, resulting in the police firing at him. He was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.
