District excise officer Subodh Kumar said the government has made it mandatory for hotels, restaurants, clubs, marriage halls, farmhouses, etc., to seek an occasional bar licence to serve liquor at parties. People can visit the excise departments web portal, https://www.upexciseportal.in, where they can fill out a form and submit a fee of Rs 11,000.
