Eight injured as twostorey building collapses

PUNE: Eight people were injured after a two-storey building caved in at Sambhaji Chowk at Keshavnagar in Mundhwa around 12.30pm on Saturday.Fire brigade officials rushed to the spot after receiving information of the incident and launched a rescue operation and removed six people trapped in the debris.The injured were sent to Sassoon general hospital for obtaining treatment.Mundhwa police senior inspector Anil Patrudkar said the PMC had issued notice to the building occupants to evacuate the premises because it was in a dangerous condition.
