CM to inaugurate 3 innovative schemes of MSEDCL

These are Chief minister solar agriculture scheme, HDVS scheme and charging stations for electric vehicles.Chief minister solar agriculture scheme is for providing power to farmers even during day time. So MSEDCL will be setting up 500 charging stations to support this policy. Charging stations are for charging of electric vehicles.The inaugural programme will be conducted in the parishad sabhagruh on sixth floor of Mantralaya in Mumbai. So Chief minister solar agriculture scheme is being implemented for providing power during the day also. PUNE: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will be inaugurating three innovative schemes projects on Tuesday, October 16. These are Chief minister solar agriculture scheme, HDVS scheme and charging stations for electric vehicles.Chief minister solar agriculture scheme is for providing power to farmers even during day time. HDVS scheme is for providing adequate power supply to farmers. Charging stations are for charging of electric vehicles.The inaugural programme will be conducted in the parishad sabhagruh on sixth floor of Mantralaya in Mumbai. Revenue minister Chandrakant Patil, finance and planning minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, energy minister Chandrashekhar Bavankule and others will be present at the programme.Currently farmers are provided power for 8 to 10 hours on rotational basis. So Chief minister solar agriculture scheme is being implemented for providing power during the day also. The agriculture pumps of farmers will be provided solar power. So 7.5 lakh farmers across the state will receive adequate power.The state government implements various measures to provide uninterrupted power at appropriate pressure. As a part of it, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited(MSEDCL) will be implementing high pressure distribution system(HVDS). Separate power transformer will be provided to one or two agriculture pumps. So the farmers will get a feeling of ownership of the transformers as a result there will be less cases of transformers develop problems and also that of accidents. This will benefit a total of 2.24 lakh farmers.The union and state governments are encouraging the use of electric vehicles for reducing vehicular pollution. So MSEDCL will be setting up 500 charging stations to support this policy. The work of setting up 50 charging stations in first phase has begun.
