Audio systems stolen from parked cars in Hadapsar

PUNE: Parking vehicles along roads at night proved costly for a few in the Hadapsar area with four music systems and a laptop being stolen from four cars in the past two nights. The car owner, Amit Shinde of Alandi, has lodged a complaint with the Hadapsar police. "We are checking CCTV footage to trace the suspects," said an officer of the Hadapsar police.In another case, the suspects broke the windscreen of a parked car near All India Radio office in Hadapsar and stole laptop and other valuables collectively worth Rs26,000 on Sunday .

PUNE: Parking vehicles along roads at night proved costly for a few in the Hadapsar area with four music systems and a laptop being stolen from four cars in the past two nights. Yogesh Tupe, a resident of Vidya Vihar Colony in Hadapsar Malwadi, told TOI that when he woke up on Saturday morning he found the window glass of his car broken."I was shocked to see the music system in my car was not at its place," he said.Tupe said the suspects forcibly removed the music system from his car. "This caused damage to the dash board.I shall have to get it repaired and replace the broken window glass," he said.
