Kathak show receives good response in Raipur

The hall reverberated with loud cheer to witness the dance performances. Five competent Kathak dancers from Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg , presented the five elements — shunya (space), vayu (air), agni (fire), jal (water) and prithvi (earth) — that make up the universe and resonate within the human body in a riveting dance presentation “Sh unya Se” at Maharishi auditorium in Raipur recently. The hall was packed with over 200 audience enjoyed the finer nuances of the performance. The presentation discovered the magic that comes from deep inside the choreographic perception of the elements of Kathak and from the most abstract and intangible to the most concrete and tangible, all existing together yet closely connected.
