2 teachers booked for beating up 3 students

RAIPUR: Two schoolteachers in Chhattisgarh 's Koriya district have been booked for brutally beating up three students with sticks and belts and locking them in a room for hours because they inadvertently damaged the number plate of a teacher's car.The accused - B P Gupta and Jiyut Chakrawarti - are on the run, say police. Principal of the residential school said the duo has been suspended and their suspension letters have been e-mailed to them.According to the complaint filed by the boys' parents, the kids were playing football on campus on Sunday when the ball hit Gupta's car, causing a small crack on the number plate.
