Celebrating Chhattisgarhi folk and monsoon

To celebrate the arrival of monsoon, the tribal cultural association recently organised a Chhattisgarhi folk song melawa at Naya Raipur. The folk song was organised to celebrate Chhatisgarhi music, a traditional way to welcome monsoon in the culture. The weather in Raipur has become pleasant as fresh spell of monsoon has gripped the capital city of Chhattisgarh . According to the organiser Devesh Shukla, such programmes are organised o keep the rich tradition of the state alive.
