Rahul Gandhi stood shoulder to shoulder with the 'Tukde Tukde' gang at the Jawaharlal Nehru University. The congress was in the forefront of defending the urban naxals in court."Referring to Congress leader Mahendra Karma, then PCCF chief Nandkumar Patel and Vidyacharan Shukla, who lost their lives in the May 2013 Maoist attack, the chief minister continued, "31 Congress leaders including Mahendra bhaiya, Nandu bhaiya and Vidya bhaiya were martyred. And you are levelling baseless and slanderous charges of having our alliance with Maoists? Congress is aligned with farmers, tribals, and women and youth, do you understand?""Saheb, don't insult Chhattisgarh's great citizens and democracy. Rest, get well soon @ arunjaitley ji.", he tweeted.State Congress general secretary Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said the Union minister has made an irresponsible statement which shows BJP's superficial politics."The tweet is an unsuccessful attempt to mislead citizens in order to cover Central government's failure to deal with Maoist menace. Chhattisgarh, being the worst Maoist-affected state, has lost lives of thousands of security personnel, got only Rs 11.87 crore from the Centre for updating of technology and dealing with the issue."Trivedi said, "Congress had become biggest victim to Maoists in Jhiram and we had been voicing for justice continuously. While BJP failed to help us heal those wounds, Jaitley is scratching and adding salt to them."
