ICAI members appreciate industrial policy of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurating ICAI National Convention. Staff Reporter : RAIPUR Narva Garwa Ghurva Bari scheme also praised Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while duly inaugurating the 3-day National Convention on Challenging the Challenges of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India here today said that ICAI has taken up a very contemporary topic for discussion. He said that many challenges are present in front of us in the present time which we can solve by strong will power and right decisions. The Chief Minister said that at present there are many challenges including corona pandemic climate change environmental pollution industry business economic condition of farmers and many other challenges. He said that in order to control the corona pandemic in State Chhattisgarh Government has taken many precautionary decisions and ensured its implementation with full determination along with better management strengthening and expansion of medical facilities. This is the reason why Chhattisgarh was able to recover from the outbreak of corona pandemic. This three-day workshop is being organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in association with the ICAI Chapters of Raipur Bhilai and Bilaspur. Madhya Bharat Central Council Secretary Shashikant Chandrakar Bilaspur Chapter President Dinesh Kumar Agarwal Raipur Chapter Secretary Ravi Gwalani and Programme Coordinator Sachendra Jain were present on this occasion. Approximately 6500 Chartered Accountants from across the country including ICAI National President Nihar Niranjan Jambusaria National Vice-President Devashish Mitra Central Council Member Kemisha Soni Programme Director Sameer Singh participated virtually in this programme. The Chief Minister said on the occasion that under Suraji Gaon Yojana which has been launched with the aim of rain water harvesting conservation and promotion of livestock organic farming promotion of nutritious food grains production of fruits and vegetables and increase in the means of livelihood in the village Narva Garuva Ghurva and Bari programmes have been started. He said that the Godhan Nyay Yojana was launched with an objective to strengthen the tradition of cow rearing and promote the production of organic food grains by reducing the dependence on chemical fertilizers which is directly affecting our health. The Chief Minister also gave detailed information about the Chief Minister Tree Plantation Incentive Scheme for promoting tree plantation to protect the environment and to address the problem of air pollution. He urged the Chartered Accountants Association to motivate the investors to invest in industries and business in Chhattisgarh while adding that we are promoting new sectors like agriculture forest produce as well as food processing medicine defense products electronics solar in State. National President of ICAI Nihar Niranjan Jambusaria appreciated the help being given to MSMEs economic revival supporting the non-core sector through the new industrial policy of state of Chhattisgarh. The ICAI office-bearers also appreciated the work done under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the overall development of the state of Chhattisgarh.
