3 brothers die after drinking poisonous liquorOur CorrespondentBilaspurIn a shocking incident three brothers died after drinking poisonous liquor at village Parsahi about 35-kilometres away from Bilaspur under Janjgir-Champa district on Monday. They purchased the country made liquor from a bootlegger and after consuming it they suddenly fainted one after another. They purchased liquor from a local bootlegger also of the same village and consumed it at a barren place on the outskirts of the village. Anil Soni told that three brothers died after drinking country made liquor and the cause of death will be clear after autopsy reports. After the incident people of the village reached the hospital demanding firm action against the bootlegger and liquor suppliers.

3 brothers die after drinking poisonous liquor Our Correspondent Bilaspur In a shocking incident three brothers died after drinking poisonous liquor at village Parsahi about 35-kilometres away from Bilaspur under Janjgir-Champa district on Monday. They purchased the country made liquor from a bootlegger and after consuming it they suddenly fainted one after another. They were immediately taken to the hospital where doctors declared all three dead. Akaltara Police under whose limits the area comes have taken possession of the bodies and sent them for autopsy. Police seized the empty liquor bottles and sent them for forensic tests. Police have registered a case and started investigation. According to information received from Akaltara Police the deceased Sanjay Sande (41) his brother Sant Kumar Sande (43) and cousin Jitendra Sonkar (38) met after a long time and wanted to celebrate the moment. They purchased liquor from a local bootlegger also of the same village and consumed it at a barren place on the outskirts of the village. Soon after finishing their drinks all the three brothers fainted one after another. The villagers later found them in a state of unconsciousness and immediately rushed them to Community Health Center (CHC) where doctors pronounced them brought dead. Immediately after information Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anil Soni along with a posse of Akaltara Police rushed to the spot and took possession of the bodies before sending them for postmortem. Anil Soni told that three brothers died after drinking country made liquor and the cause of death will be clear after autopsy reports. He said that they have seized the empty liquor bottles and sent them for forensic tests. Police was also enquiring about the shop from where the liquor was purchased. Relatives of the deceased alleged that there was poison in the liquor which claimed three innocent lives. After the incident people of the village reached the hospital demanding firm action against the bootlegger and liquor suppliers. Akaltara Police based on the circumstantial evidences and statements of the villagers have registered a case and started further investigations.
