Cong unveils BJP Ka Kala Chittha ahead of Shahs visit Staff Reporter RAIPUR In a strategic move the Chhattisgarh Congress released the BJP Ka Kala Chittha just hours before the scheduled visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Raipur. The document unveiled at the state Congress party office Rajiv Bhawan in State Capital delves into the alleged misdeeds of the previous Dr Raman Singh-led BJP government during its 15-year tenure and scrutinises the nine years of the BJP-led Central Government. During a press conference held at Rajiv Bhawan Chhattisgarh Congress In-charge Kumari Selja asserted that the previous BJP administration in Chhattisgarh had deceived the states citizens. She also criticised the BJP government at the national level claiming that it had failed to fulfil its promises over the past nine years citing multiple scandals that occurred during the BJPs 15-year rule in State. Selja stated “the Congress government in Chhattisgarh has successfully gained the trust of the states people. The upcoming Assembly elections will be a stern message to the BJP which has left a dark mark on history.” Deepak Baij State Congress President who was also present at the press conference accused the previous BJP government of being involved in over 34 scandals including the PDS scam sterilisation tragedy scam and chit-fund scam. When asked about the Congresss stance on One Nation One Election Kumari Selja criticised it as an initiative by the BJP government aimed at weakening democracy. She further argued that tribal rights had been undermined during the previous BJP governments tenure farmers had been exploited and public properties were being sold by the current BJP government at the national level. Regarding the possibility of the BJP releasing an Aarop Patra (Accusation Document) against the Congress government State Congress President Deepak Baij dismissed it as a mere showpiece. On the topic of the liquor ban Baij suggested that a social awareness campaign should be conducted to address the issue. Addressing the gang-rape incident involving two sisters in Mandir Hasaud State President Deepak Baij affirmed that the government had taken strict action. He expressed solidarity with the victims family and highlighted that the accused who is a relative of a BJP leader had a history of criminal activities. Baij stressed that such incidents should not occur and assured that the government was vigilant. All the accused were apprehended within three hours.
