Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Friday that the three new laws in India prioritize womens safety and justice. We are still following laws made by the British even after so many years of independence. Change is inevitable with time and we are moving towards a better future. These are the fruits of the futuristic and visionary thinking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Chhattisgarh Police will not face any shortage of resources in the coming times. Sai said this at a presentation of the provisions of new laws at the Old Police Headquarters in Raipur. Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja and Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain were present. Juneja briefed everyone about the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Bill, 2023, the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita Bill, 2023 and the Bharatiya Sakshya Bill, 2023. Juneja said: The new laws have been prepared with the spirit of giving justice to the victims, whereas the purpose of the old laws was just to punish.
