Four Naxalites held in Bijapur

Four Maoists were arrested and explosives were seized from them in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on Monday. Raju Padam, Laxman Madvi, Budhram Kursam and Guddu Kursam were apprehended from Sawnar village by the security forces, Bijapur Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav said. A team of the District Reserve Guard and local police were conducting an anti-Naxalite operation on Sunday in the Sawnar and Todka areas. The four were Sawnar Panchayat Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Majdoor Sangh well as militia members.
