The Vice Chancellor of the Guru Ghasidas Central University (GGU), Prof Alok Kumar Chakrawal, on Monday said that youths are the carriers of fresh ideas through which they can script new narratives. The youth of this country is filled with endless possibilities, which will play a significant role in the development of Viksit Bharat by 2047, he said. He was addressing the inaugural of a two-day Ideathon 2024, funded by the Department of Science and Technology through the Technology Enabling Centre (TEC). The event was held at the Rajat Jayanti Auditorium in the university. Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, Chairman and Managing Director of South-East Coalfields Ltd, Bilaspur, was the chief guest. Inspiring the youths, Mishra said that setting a goal was difficult without a purpose and at the same time love for the goal was essential for any innovation and creation. Prof. Chakraval  said Ideathon will play a vital role in providing energy to new ideas. Special guest S.S. Bajaj, Director-General, Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CG COST), Raipur, said that the nation will be built through new discoveries and experiments.
