Maoist couple with Rs 7 lakh reward surrenders in Sukma

A Maoist couple carrying a collective bounty of Rs 7 lakhs on them on Monday surrendered to security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Sodi Sukka alias Kosa and his wife Sodi Sukki turned themselves in, Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavhan said. Kosa, who carried a bounty of Rs 5 lakhs on his head, was the Agriculture Wing President/Area Committee Member (ACM) under the Kistaram Area Committee of the outlawed Maoist group. His wife, who carried a reward of Rs 2 lakhs, was a Krantikari Adivasi Mahila Sangathan (KAMS) member. The two were involved in several Maoist incidents.
