Former BSP MLA joins BJP

A two-time MLA in Chhattisgarh on Monday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here. Former legislator Keshav Chandra and scores of supporters joined the party, district media In-charge Pankaj Agrawal said. He joined the saffron party in the presence of Cabinet Minister O.P. Choudhary and state unit president Kiran Singh Deo in Jaijaipur in Janjgir-Champa district. Chandra was elected as a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA from Jaijaipur Assembly seat in 2013 and 2018.
