Police install photos of ‘Good Samaritans’

Police in Raipur city on Tuesday installed photographs of six Good Samaritans who helped accident victims and saved their lives. Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh feted them at the Police Control Room a few days ago for their efforts. At the felicitation, the officer instructed officials to put up their photographs in the city so that others could get motivated to help other accident victims. Hoardings with the pictures of Dashrath Sahu, Khileshwar Mahant, Kartik Kumar Nirmalkar, Ravi Kumar Sahu, Govinda Sahni and Parth Vaishnav have installed at various thoroughfares of Raipur, Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Lakhan Patle said. These men informed 108 ambulance services about the victims and admitted them to hospitals within 30 minutes of the accidents in Raipur district.
