Rajkot: A man was arrested in bogus degrees and mark sheets scam on Tuesday night. Gohel has confessed to selling 45 bogus mark sheets in the past four years. He said that he would sell mark sheets for anywhere between Rs 50,000 and Rs 75,000. They are Pankaj Sanghvi of Vadodara, Hitesh Patel of Ankaleshwer and an unidentified member of Delhi-based HH Foundation,” said crime branch inspector H M Gadhvi.The seized bogus degrees and mark sheets were from various universities spread across the country including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and Rajasthan. Police identified the accused as Prakash Gohel (36), a resident of Marutinandan Society on Kuwadava Road in Rajkot.Gohel used to run Sun Rise Tuition Class on Raiya Road and sell fake degrees and mark sheets.“We have seized 15 bogus mark sheets from him.
