Rajkot: A Dalit woman was allegedly beaten up by three assailants who also allegedly molested her in Shankar Tekri area of Jamnagar on Sunday night. “The woman accused Bachu Koli, Rohit Koli and Raghu Koli of the crime. She alleged that when she was out for shopping in Shankar Tekri market, the accused waylaid her, beat her up and molested her,” an official from Jamnagar C division police station said.“The woman said when she resisted the molestation attempt by Bachu, he along with other accused thrashed and molested her. We have registered the complaint and transferred the investigation to the ST/SC cell of Jamnagar police, which has launched a manhunt for the accused who absconded after committing the crime,” the official added.
