Rajkot: A man fired at his son from an airgun over a petty dispute in Thoriyali village of Vinchhiya taluka in Rajkot district on Saturday. When Ghanshyam refused again, Jiva got furious and shot his son with airgun several times. Ghanshyam was first treated at primary health centre in Vinchhiya and thereafter transferred to Rajkot Civil Hospital for further treatment. They said Jiva had been asking for money from Ghanshyam for the past few days. The injured man, identified as Ghanshyam Rajpara, was admitted to Rajkot Civil Hospital for treatment, while the cops have detained his father Jiva Rajpara for questioning.According to the police, Jiva, who is in his late 60s, fired 10 rounds with airgun on his son, who runs a provision store.
